Just got 10 inch tablet. What's some cool shit I can do with it? So far the only thing I found interesting was downloading N64 emulator and playing Super Mario 64.

Draw porn.
In the rare occurrence that you have friends, it comes in handy if playing tabletop games like D&D. If it runs on android you can get a DOSBOX emulator and play DOS games.

Read books.
Putting 10-20 books on a tablet and reading as much as you want on the train is quite awesome.
>Frank Herbert's Dune, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune
Messiah was not good. The other two were fine.

Phones are pretty k for reading as well.
Also, is fantasy dead today, by your standards?
Is there any way to play movies on an Android tablet that are shared via window sharing?

Phones are ~5-6 inches. Tablets are 7-10, much easier to read.
>Also, is fantasy dead today, by your standards?
I do not know. >>>/lit/ might know. I tried picking up a couple of modern fantasy books, but it was something like
>The fairy flew about the navel of the giant, while the drug-fueled sex orgy continued unabated.
If anyone know any good modern scifi, please let me know. Otherwise, I am going back to Asimov.

The TV show The Expanse is based off a book. Maybe that's good?

I'm getting my way on sub 5 inch display. It doesn't hurt too much.
The thing with modern fantasy is that it tries to leave an impression with mild alterations to a pretty substantial fantasy fairy and orc world.
Also über detailed gore and fucking all the way because Game of Thrones did it, and turned out as a hit.
Also there are significantly more series with over ten books in them. Soap operas ain't shit.

>Also über detailed gore and fornication all the way because Game of Thrones did it, and turned out as a hit.
Yeah, I cannot stand it. Some blood and spice once in a while is ok, but it is often too much. Might as well skip it and try scifi instead.

Yuh. But Sci fi in book form is pretty bland compared to movies. In a movie, thing that blows your mind is the concept, or plot turnaround. Movies add layer of visual eye happy rape to above mentioned.

Pfff my dick is bigger then that.
I only use my tablet to watch seasons and shit, they are not that capable to do everything else. Too restricted and I hate that.
I can recommend some series for you.
> Mr. Robot ~ even if it is just made by first semester CS sheeps it is fine
> Wayward Pines ~ god's gift
> Stranger Things ~ first season is only 8 eps but they are gems
> The Knick ~ 192× america with a Dr. House and with an actual story
> Dark Matter ~ mercenaries, space and Illuminati
> Containment~ it is cool but some eps are really cheesy
> 100 ~ post apocalypse earth space humans and AI religion
> Outcast ~ idk

Most file browsers on android should support samba shares.

One thing that ticks me off about reading on my phone is that I can't get the two page layout when reading in landscape in Google Play Books. It's worth getting a tablet for reading just to have that feature.
