Fuck off kid.
BASED AMD

>AMD64
So again, when will intel make x64 processors?

they tried with this little fuckup called Itanium. It flopped worse than P4 and Bulldozer put together.
It had terrible x86 emulation capabilities (a 2ghz Itanium chip was about as a fast as a 100mhz Pentium in x86), and using it in VLIW mode was a pain in the ass because the compilers needed to get it to perform optimally simply did not exist.
AMD swoops in with a properly x86 backwards compatible 64-bit instruction set, and everyone jumps on that simply because they wouldnt have to recompile their programs for a shitty architecture AND could use x64 programs.
Intel, seeing that AMD had a better solution to the 64-bit problem, licensed the tech from them, which is what is used in every modern chip these days.

AMD always fixes shit and tries new shit
intel & nvidia should just give them 20%
