I asked this question and bumped on literally 5 different /sqt/ and got 0 answers, so sorry for the shitpost
The thing is: I'm trying to get into cybersecurity but I really hate programming. I've learnt C, Java and Python. I can write basic programs but can read more 'advanced' and complex programs. What I enjoy is networking and operational systems and wanted to know if these areas (cybersecurity, networking) require too much programming. Basic? Advanced? All I know is that there are some network algorithms to handle certain things...
thanks in advance

That's like trying to be a lifeguard but you can't swim.

not really, do what you really like, the rest is a means. you can do basic programming stuff, you can learn what you'll need later (however it might be a little time sensitive)

Ignore other fucks. Just get the CCNA courses online (for free or not) and start learning all the way through CCNP.
If you still like networking after that, congrats, you're a cybersecurity expert.

You know, if you get ignored on 5 consecutive threads, /g/ might not be the right place to ask your questions. I hear there are whole other websites out there.
