A friend of mine is offering to sell me a thinkpad r61 with an old core 2 duo in it, but when I first saw the specs I was against it. After reading more about the Core 2 I'm very tempted. Seems like a super solid processor given the age

i decided to live on the edge for about 2 years before upgrading to something cooler. Still a very based cpu and perfect for e-sports games (cyka strike:go , dota 2 , league of retards).

My laptop is a T500 with a T9400, running Fedora. It still is plenty fast for basic laptop shit, no signs of slowing.
