Considering a desktop with an SSD boots in about 10 seconds, you won't gain much I dont think.

I use a sm951 and sometimes I don't even see the logo. Just a bios splash screen then the windows logon.

Probably limited by your board bus at that point... or do you have an optimal bus specific to .m2 tech already?
