Rip
Did you overclock it? I had the same problem To everytime i overclock it. Drivers always crashed. And After it recovered, it always ran in a limp mode where the clock speed won't even pass 700Mhz. I read somewhere it probably have something To do with not enough power

My 780 started doing this recently too, tried everything in the book
Now I'm spooked because the replacement coming is a 970

My 960 would do the same shit when i try to overclocking, how i fix the problem by deleting the driver and reinstalling it.
my gtx 570 does this for 2 years now... sucks being a NEET
I have 2x 970s in SLI (fuck off, I know) and would get constant "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" messages--for me it was Chrome, no shit. I disabled hardware acceleration in Chrome's settings and haven't had a single crash since.

My drivers did seem to fuck up a lot with Chrome open, maybe that might fix things.
It's fine, Nvidia drivers are just notoriously bad.
