How's the Surface pro 4 keyboard? I've heard that its a pretty cool dvice for uni students.
Is it just a meme or is it really that good in general?
Just get a thinkpad senpai

but i like the idea of writing iagrams/equations on the actual screen and not having to carry around a piece of paper.
I have an SP3 and it's excellent. Light and thin as fuck and more powerful than a laptop.
If you're going to do lots of typing get the surface book then, assuming budget isn't a problem.
Got mine today and love it.
I have a sp4, and yes it's the best windows device for students . Onenote along with the surface pen is pretty useful .
The keyboard is fine for typing on, the glass track pad is legit MacBook tier track pad
I really want one, I'm laptopless (aside from a MacBook from work which I don't want to fill with personal stuff) and moving abroad soon. I don't intend to take either of my desktops. Will the S4 handle ableton and Max/Msp well? Can I play Civ V on it? Are there any Linux distros with good touch support?
Sorry for the stupid questions.

I bought the surface 4 keyboard for my surface 3, it's way better and the fingerprint sensor is really useful to quickly unlock the system.
Sadly the only thing I dislike is the fact that the home button can only be accessed through FN instead of being its own button like it was on the surface 3 keyboard

Have one.
It's okay. Better than Usual Laptop Keyboards.
My wife's son has one and he really enjoys it.
I have an i7 8GB SP4 for art reasons and I like it. Keyboard is good, but they are a bit textured, so easy to get dirty.
