Waiting for those sweet ass fx 8350 or 8370 price cuts.

Kinda wish they would drop a couple of final am1 cpus before zen hits but I'm not holding my breath. Love my Athlon 5350...for the price (30$) it's amazing and it would be nice for a final poor fag upgrade/overclock project.

But since that'll never fuckin happen I'll just wait on the afore mentioned price cuts.

I'm still waiting for desktop Bristol Ridge, so I buy it now and upgrade to a 6-core/12-thread or 8-core/16-threads Zen APU with the graphics performance of a 260x later.

I'm guessing they might not release such a thing ever so I'll have to wait until like march of 2017.

Surprisingly, I don't wait for any processor.
I mostly use my laptop with mobile i5(2 cores, 4 threads) at home and 3770 at work and hardly can tell the difference aside slightly more sluggish indexing and such.
For gaming, maybe?

I'm on 775 with a Q9400 and it's really time to upgrade. It's still going strong, but I'd like an i series.

Funny enough, when I was a gaymer, it was fine and ran all stuff fine, but the more I got into programming, virtual machines, rendering, etc. It really showed it's age.

Can't wait for price drop... It can't even play 4K videos.

I have yet to see 2 Intel cores doing something faster then 8 AMD ones that cost the same $$$.
Instead I keep seeing shitty software where it's rare to see anything use more then 4 at one time, while the rest of the cores do jack shit.
