Had the exact same issue, changed to deluge, no issue.
Have no idea how a program can have the issues it has, and still be used by people.
It is made to server a purpose, and it fails horribly.
If you use QB, i feel for you.

You need to Force-resume instead of resume it and it will go just fine. In older versions it didn't work so I had to drop it but now it has no issues starting 800 torrents at once and immediately going to 5MB/s

Simple answer to why I continue to bear with it is because:

>works 95% (or more) of the time with what I download.
>stalling is usually less than 30 seconds for on a good torrent (still rare and may not happen at all 95% of the time).
>stalling only common on poorly seeded torrents (terms for torrent issues with stalling could be better improved for future releases so torrent issue is identified better).
>There are much worst Torrent clients around.
>Qbittorent generally not spammed the fuck out and has regular releases.
>Had no serious issue with the Qbittorrent.

Moving to Deluge would only be if I wanted the closest thing to perfection for torrent clients.
Not sure which negatives I would come to find with Deluge until I tried it.
