Hello /g/! I live in an Eastern European country, specifically Romania.
All I'm looking for is a small and lightweight laptop (14" or less). I want to get something priced around 300-350$ that has a proper HDD (no 32 emmc memory) and is also a proper laptop (no 2-in-1 convertible tablet bullshit). For specifications, a multicore CPU with 4GB RAM would be sufficient. I just want to install Linux on it and use it for programming, school stuff and browsing, maybe host a little server from time to time.
Here is the problem. Most of the laptops under 14" in this price range, sold in my country, are shitty 2-in-1 tablets.
Where can I buy a nice laptop from this part of Europe? Would it be wise to buy something from Amazon?
If you were to ever drive through Pooland at that price range i'd offer you one of the lenovo refurbs.
U330, Yoga, flex. Celerons, i3 older i5. Normal hdds.
Isn't there a romanian ebay? We have allegro.

More like chinkpads, right now some e550, l450. They do, but i got them from all over the place, germany, spain, france, as expected from refurbs. Not many of them boast us/international layout. But hey, they're 3/4 the price of a new one.
I bought my last two Thinkpads through eBay in Europe (Spain).
X220 is a good option. For that price, you can install an SSD too.

ISO keyboard would be a deal breaker for me. Seems like I would have to buy one off eBay if I wanted one.
