Fedora-LXDE is one of the worst Operating Systems I have ever seen. I think the problem lies within LXDE.
On a fresh install Midori did not open once. I had to download Firefox, and then in a matter of days there were missing repos and I was unable to download anything.
Why in the hell would they make Midori a default browser, anyway?

It doesn't even do font rendering without some weird work around.
Its shit, basically a beta test platform for the RHEL.

the DE and package manager cannot be correlated, maybe you have to configure the mirror dnf use?
however fedora is not stable enough in my opinion, use debian/ubuntu lts for a better desktop experience

Normal Fedora is definitely stable
Debian/Ubuntu contains a bit of spyware

a search field is not spyware
I agree it wasn't nice from their part but after being called out for this they made it opt-in in new releases
and debian never had amazon "spyware"

No, problem lies with fedora.

i don't see what's wrong with lxde. i use it on all my computers and i love it to bits.

Its obsolete, the main developer is changig to qt, problem is lxqt is still being developed

same

Fedora is one of the best distributions. I haven't tried the LXDE spin, but it's default GNOME3 spin is more stable than any other distro I've tried, right up there with Debian but with much newer software.
