It's useful for us working members of society who deal with shit on multiple devices you dumb plebeian. And since it's all synced, it's not only in the cloud.

Do people really still do this after the fappening?

This sickens me. I have a shitload of archives and I manage my files all with my own hardware. It's not that hard.

>Using a cloud service to have all your files at hand and on the go
>Having to encrypt them yourself before sending them and decrypt them after downloading them
This is a lot of trouble just to not use physical storage. Are millenials allergic to hardware or something?
>Cloud storage
I remember when we had to sell Office at work, shilled a lot of people into buying it because you get 1TB of cloud storage for a year when buying office 365. I never feeled very good about fucking them over, but then again they were buying Office to begin with so maybe they actually liked getting cucked into it.

Boxcryptor provides an encrypted layer between the cloud service and OS. The files will appear as decrypted and can be opened normally while they are stored as encrypted on your cloud drive. There's no need to encrypt and/or decrypt anything manually. It does it for you behinds the scenes.
It's closed source though, but there are open source alternatives.

>Google drive integration sucks sweaty balls
Does it? I use GDrive for a shit tonne of things on my Nexus and it works flawlessly.
>>55734996
I'm sorry, but you're pretty stupid. Why more to a different platform when what you have suits you just fine?
>>55735768
You're Autistic, the fappening wasn't a problem with iCloud dumbcunt
