Buying an HTC One M8 Windows phone in the morning for $90. What

App store is depressing. Your bank app is probably not available.
Ads in 95% of all apps with no way to disable them except for "premium" versions.
Lots of garbage apps.
No adblock.
No decent browser.
tldr You'll regret it.

WP home screen is a very practical setup IMO. I also thought that Cortana behaved very well with voice commands. Among the apps it does have, there are some real stars.

Still, I'm happier with Android.

Lolno. The only reason shitty lumias are getting updated is because Microsoft owns the brand. HTC, on the other hand, doesn't have this much interest in updating their Windows phones.

The OS is quite good on the Lumia 950/XL.

I have an M8 Windows with Verizon. Here's what I can tell you:

> No official support for WP10 (Get insider preview, that will allow you WP10)
> Decent battery life
> HTC DOT view cases are $2 new
> Battery life is about 30 hours standby in the very shitty service area I live in
> SD card slot, will take a 128GB SD card
> NFC works, and is less gimmicky than expected
> Apps are... disappointing
> Outlook and Exchange integration is phenomenal
> So is OCIM / Lync / Skype for Buisness
> Includes Office

Most of what I do centers around Outlook, Exchange, and some other Microsoft infrastructure stuff. So for me, it's a great platform. Verizon sucks, but that's to be expected.
