Its hard to match the socket pins aint it. Look for skylake mobos and chipsets.

Depending on what level of detail you are looking at yes, this looks not too dissimilar to some GCN block diagrams. I guess if you were to simplify the subject all gpus are just cpus going slow and wide rather than narrow and fast.
