What do you recommend to someone who wants a laptop without a compromise?
Requirements):
>13" amazing display (Full HD or better, good colors)
> battery 7h+
> quiet
> SSD 250gb is enough
> aluminum body, backlit comfortable keyboard
I am torn between Macbook Pro and Dell XPS 13". The person has their own small marketing company, travels to clients a lot, has never had anything from Apple and is mostly oblivious to the brand, mostly wants functionality.
I'd get the MBP solely because it doesn't have the XPS flaws.
Hmm I wasn't aware of these: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/3spvho/list_of_known_issues_with_the_xps_15_9550/
> 4k panel viewing angle bad - colors go to red/violet when viewed from top and the side.
> Space bar does not register.
> Fans kicking in when only browsing internet or otherwise under a low CPU load
> Screen flickering
> Display driver crashing randomly
Then I suppose there is no competition, these all go directly against what the acquaintance of me needs.

I would advise Xps 13, but wait for new macbook to come out so you arent faced with remorse.
