Need a new browser.
>loved Opera 12.whatever until I had to rely on a backup browser more and more.
>Tried Opera 18, but just couldn't.
>Never liked Firefox, but it's ok, I can ignore the niggly quirks, until I keep having to reach for Chrome as a backup.
>Chrome did me well, despite the small things annoying me, for a while but always needed a backup.

What else is there, or which should I learn to love?
>>
Most Opera 12 users moved to either Firefox or SeaMonkey.

I'll give seamonkey a go. Thanks.
>>
I use Sleipnir 6

>>
>Low RAM usage
>Adblocker/noscript
>No BS, no frills user interface
>All in one .exe process
>No botnets
>No useless bloat functions

Does it exist?
>>
DirectWrite is aids and I need to get out of chrome fast. Suggestions?
>>
Firefox for life
>>
Opera is objectively by far the best browser on the market

fastest and with unique features

and opera 18 is nothing like the latest opera 40
>>
Maxthon ,Dolphin are actually really good. They are chink and chinks n Russian s are really trying to have their share of spyware installed around the world so they actually made browsers worth install ing.

>opera 40
My god, I thought you were memeing.
>>
>>55689205
pretty cool. i'll check this one out.

do you have more background information about the framework and company itself?

i can't read japanese
>>
>>55689434
Tried Dolphin on mobile, bugy, bgugy, bguyg.

Still loving Opera for mobile.
>>
>>55689461
Don't know much about them. The browser uses Blink, and has god-tier text rendering. Just Google for some reviews.
>>
>>55689485
really nice. from the first impression it looks more advanced in a entirely new direction.

probably a bit less beginner friendly but this comes with more functions
>>
See you in an hour guys.
>>
Opera Developer (Currently on 40) is pretty much everything i need.
The only bad thing is that it might become a chinese botnet.
It's like Chrome but with more stuff and it doesn't rape my ram.
I would recommend Vivaldi, however it's pretty much a Chrome re-skin so you still have shitty memory usage.
>>
>>55689485
i'm impressed anon. lastpass easily lets me convert to it.

the font rendering is indeed really eye pleasuring
>>
>>55689149
Firefox is what I use. SeaMonkey has too many inconveniences.

The new Opera works great, though. No other browser cares enough about the user to include a built in adblock.
>>
>>55688727
Iceweasel or Icecat
>>
>>55690748
Why would you want a built in adblock on a desktop browser?
>>
>>55689288
Back in 2013, I would've said QtWeb.

For those asking about Sleipnir, they have a current version called 4 that's not featured on their English site like 6 is. 4 is also Blink-based and compatible with Chrome extensions but with a more utilitarian UI without the aesthetic Mac-style type.
>>
>>55690748
I tried it and it wouldnt let me log in to some sites. so meh. I just stay with Firefox Dev Edition for main browser, and Chrome as my flash browser for toxic things

Opera if you don't care about the upcoming Chinese botnet. Vivaldi if you want something deliciously autistic.
>Tab stacks
>Vertical tabs
>Bookmarks and downloads list in a side panel

vivaldi still lacks the ability to drag tabs to a separate window

do not want
