Nexus 5x has a shit battery so i sold it. I bought a moto x pure and i'm overall very happy with it.

The battery will last two years of used sparingly. But it's relatively easily replaceable. No SD card slot is an issue for me now though. I own the original Nexus 5 since 2013 and it served me mostly will. It's starting to have its issues though. Like camera not working until reboot. And the camera is decidedly not great. It's okay. No phone camera is ever great.

What really annoys me about the Android environment is the sheer number of updates every fucking day. I don't even have that many third party apps, maybe like 10 or 15 tops. But coders for Android seem to fuck up so consistently there isn't a day that goes by without 5 updates wanting to happen. And every time it's the entire fucking program downloaded again.
And every time Android itself updates the apps need to be "optimized", which takes 15 minutes and happens if you let it every month.
That just annoysthe shit out of me.

I'm getting a 32GB 5x tomorrow.
Any idea about the screen status, will it totally fail with it's digitizer after a drop, there doesn't seem to be any nexus 5x drop test video.
I had the nexus 4 before and it was great, but it became totally unusable after a drop, the screen was barely broke at the edge but the digitizer shat itself completely

I'm on my nexus 6 now, I shattered mine and replaced the screen myself for just over a hundred dollars in parts.

The replacement screen turned out being better than the original somehow, 10/10.

I'm sticking with this big motherfucker for years

Dont get the nexus 5x. No mSD slot, over heats like a bitch, lags, battery is mediocre but it charges hella quick due to usb c. Also screen QC is complete shite. What colors do you like? Piss yellow? Red? I have a 5x and regret it
