What is the most compact notebook with a bit of power under its hood, I have an x220, but I feel like even its too chunky, I need something with an OS + decent amount of ram + cpu. I am currently using a shit tier wallmart :Nextbook Flexx 10.1" 2-in-1 Tablet 32GB Intel Atom Z3735F Quad-Core Processor Windows 10
It has everything I want (besides the shit OS) but openvpn works, text editor, browsing pages, touch screen. but its dog piss slow.
Please help really need to be mobile. are there any 10 inch notebooks out their with decent processor and ram and storage, I don't really need more than 256gb in storage

You could get a Lenovo yoga Ultrabook it fits your description, but I bought one for my wife for college it has a i5 5200 u 16 gb of ram and a 256 gb ssd for 1,000 and it is very slow. Laptops in general are shit unless you spend 2 grand and get something really bulky.

Panasonic RZ5 if money is no object.
If you are on a budget: thinkpad yoga 11e. Somewhat ok celeron to core m on some models, some boards have user replaceable RAM and you get a touchscreen and wacom digitizer with it. Runs well with GNU/Linux
