Do most mainstream Linux distros handle full hd properly? I have a 13inch full hd screen here, and I'd like to install a easy to use Linux distribution for working/browsing etc while still being able to read my shit (that means upscaling most programs). Do most distributions do that now? Or is there one that handles it better?

They most certainly don't handle 4k well at all. Pathetic.

Sorry I meant 1080p, not 4k. I'd just like to know if any of them could upscale programs or not.

I know what you meant. Just ranting, yeah they upscale okay.
Unity works and scales perfectly on my 13' 3200x1800 screen, so that means GNOME probably works fine too. I dont know about others.
You mean DPI scaling. Now you can google it and find out! Congrats.
Arch handles 1080p at 1600x900 with no issues
