The reason the mech key meme was resurrected is because people got sick of every laptop and consumer keyboard adopting chiclet with no tactile feedback. In fact most people serious about this will buy an old Model M before a gaymur model. Also a few popular youtubers who champion retro tech started making videos about mechs. I agree the LEDs and culture around mechs is gross but they came back for more reasons than just a marketing ploy. Like anything the gaymur market reacts to trends for profit, it doesn't create any.

I've only used it for kodi as well as the built-in emulators. Video playback occasionally stutters but emulation is fine. Haven't gotten into anything else since I don't have a wifi dongle yet.

CM exists, but the eu rom is what folks are recommending. Make sure you request a unlock code before you get the phone, it takes a bit of time (weeks)

The unlock process for me was a little painful - I ended up using a windows VM to run all the tools to flash it to the chiniese developer rom so the unlock tool would work. Maybe I just had back luck.

Just got my KZ-ATE S earbuds

Sound quality is better than I expected, pretty bass heavy though so keep that in mind.

They're kind of uncomfortable but I've never used IEMs before so that might not be specific to these earbuds.

The inline mic has shit quality but it'll do for phone calls and the such. If I bought it again, I wouldn't get it with the mic.

The wire is made from some springy rubber bullshit. It's ok but it tangles easily. It's a little short though.

All in all 7.5/10 would buy again.
