I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. I'm running it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. With my stylus hovering over the screen I can move the mouse pointer. Tapping the screen clicks left mouse button. Thats good enough for me so I haven't tried using bluetooth input devices.
A good idea is installing hacker keyboard app so you can have the full range of character keys.
