Windows 7 is just too superior for now. Windows 10 still feels like a beta OS designed for tablets (now that Windows Phone is almost dead and all MS apps are on Android and iOS the universal apps thing has even less appeal) and the desperate way Microsoft is handling the upgrade thing is because they know too W7 is still better and nobody would upgrade unless it was offered for free and with big nags everywhere.
