Don't ask why it was upside down, but when secure boot is off boot mode is stuck in uefi
I am currently using UEFI dual boot Linux and Windows 10.
Just install both of them in UEFI mode, then install rEFInd from linux.

I can't GRUB boot into Windows 10, so I have to hold F12 at start up, go into settings, and enable UEFI boot. Then it can only boot into Windows.

In order to disable UEFI, you must go to Settings (in W10) > Update & Security > Recovery > Under "Advanced startup" click "Restart now" > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI firmware settings > Restart. Now there should be a setting somewhere that can be changed from "UEFI boot" to "CSM boot"
It's kind of insane how much shit you have to do to avoid Windows.

This shit complicated to use or pretty straight forward?
