I'm pretty indifferent, if it came down to a the same keyboard being cheaper because it didn't have a backlight I'd go for it. If I did need one I;d like a full RGB selection to sync up with my g600

I bought a Corsair k65 and returned it the next day. reds suck.

>>
>>55493995
It isn't a Model F 102... The keyboards are referred to as a Model F 107 because they all had 107 keys and there was multiple models. 4704 isn't the only one... So that's why I refer to it as an F107.

I expected someone in an MKG thread to know this, fucking troglodyte.
>>
>>55493406
Is the spacebar PBT on those Jap ones? I imagine it is since it's so much smaller.

>No shit...
If you have no problem with it, why comment on it originally?

It does originally have 107 keys... I'm not sure what your wikipedia article is trying to prove? The fact you even need to post a link proves to me you don't know shit about F's, not do you own one. You clearly don't belong here.

There is an F 4704 and a 4700 that both come under F107. I refer to mine as F107 when people ask what the keyboard is as the 4700 and 4704 are pretty much the same board.

It only has 102 keys because it was MODIFIED. It IS a model f 107 key keyboard.

You are retarded I swear.

Why do some keyboards have give an option to switch between 6KRO and NKRO?
Isn't NKRO clearly superior? Or is there some weird edge case where 6KRO has some benefit?
>>
>>55495557
USB standard only supports 6KRO. Different software hacks are used to get around this to provide NKRO. Some hacks are shit to the point where an NKRO board won't be recognised in BIOS.

I used to have a CMstorm quickfire rapid, the tenkeyless, and I liked it.

One day I spilled a glass of water on my table and it went under the keyboard and must've like sat kinda touching the mini usb cable going into the port in the board. I'm pretty sure it fucked up the cable I was using, and when I replaced it, my control keys and a few other keys don't work. Is this something their warranty covers? Should I try getting it replaced or just forget it and buy another?

What's a good tenkeyless keyboard with good builtin buttons for medie features and stuff?

Here's the shop I had mentioned, was in a cellar along the same main street. Unfortunately they didn't have anything outside of the common cherry flavors. Apart from the new cherry pink "silent" switch in some filcos. Felt like a cross-over between reds with o-rings and a rubber dome.

I got myself a K60. My only other options were Razor/Logitech/ASUS.
It's heavy and with the brushed aluminum finish it gives you that premium feeling.
Keys feel nice specially the extra textured ones that comes with it. Presses are what you would expect from a cherry mx red.
A shame that the function and the home/insert/etc keys aren't mechanical, needless to say the difference is very noticeable.
I am loving the media keys and the windows key lock.
A huge plus side is that it does not need any drivers.

Thanks for reading my review /mkg/, now please make me regret my purchase.

Ask a faggot idiot who just broke his keyboard in an uncharacteristic fit of autistic drunken rage anything.

Just not having a good week. A lot on my mind. Kept dying in a fucking video game and just... fucking lost it. I mean seeing red beat a man to death fucking lost it. I punched the keyboard. Broke 5 switches so the keys no longer worked. That pissed me off even more and I just ripped the thing apart with my bare hands. I don't even remember what fucking game I was playing for fucks sake!

Who am I? What am I becoming? Holy shit /g/ I had this keyboard for years and years now and I just went ape on it.

Maybe I should talk to someone.

Literal seething hatred for the person I have to look at in the mirror every morning. Been trying to bury this shit as deep as possible but it keeps bubbling up.

Games are usually my escape, or cool down period after a long work week. Just dying over and over At one of the thing s I pride myself as "being good at" just pushed me over whatever edge I was standing on. As pathetic as that is i know. There is only so long I can keep my mask on for friends and family. It's slipping and I see others notice too. Always asking what's wrong. Something needs fixing and I don't know what the fuck it is.

Back to your keyboard talk everyone. I'll go stew in my pot of shit. Thanks for the listen.

Old Das Ultimate with Cherry MX Browns, Ergodox with Cherry MX Blues, $10 Dell at work

Need a keyboard for work, but the Ergodox is far too loud and the Das is far too big, and quite loud even with O-rings.

Was looking at the silent Matias switches, but the only such keyboard I saw was a 60% with the ANSI layout. Even though I need function keys I could perhaps live with a 60% keyboard, but ANSI is a no-go for me. Desperately need that extra key.

Is this a good keyboard if you are on a small budget? I walked into microcenter and typed a bit on their mechanical keyboard with all the different type of switches and blues where my favorite. I mostly use my keyboard for typing and I currently have an IBM model m but its too loud and I cant stand membranes. I just want a cheap keyboard with a similar feel to blues. I dont want to spend a lot of money since I have a model m which I will switch back to when I get my masters and have a place of my own. So is this any good or is it overpriced? I know its not cherry mx blue but people online say it feels similar.

Build your own and then you can program the controller to do whatever you want.
>>

those aren't options. Razer, logitech and corsair don't bother having NKRO in a single one of their macro keyboards.

Hold both shifts down and type a sample sentence on a razer blackwidow, you get THEQCKBRWFXJEVERTHELAZYG
rather than the actual sentence itself.
>>
