I actually just bought this card as well, but I don't really regret it. My 580 died ~1 month ago, and I've been stuck with my GTX285 since. The 1060 reference/FE isn't going to be out until the 19th, and it will likely be weeks before other manufactors make their (almost certainly better) versions and bring them to market. I'm sick of being without a card, and don't want to wait a month or more for a new one.

Besides, the 10xx series doesn't support VGA (none of the cards have DVI-I, which carries analog signal as well as digital), and I have a CRT monitor I like to use sometimes.
