Absolute technology-oblivious guy here, came here because I have an issue and I literally don't know where else to go for help. I downloaded this guitar-amp program which can be used to record your guitar if you plug it into your PC, so I did just that but for some reason my PC only seems to recognize my guitar as a speaker, at least that's what I think as all sound stops when I plug it in. Does anyone know how I can change it so that my PC actually recognizes it as a guitar instead of a speaker? Literally can't even google this cause I have no idea how to word in one sentence.
Kill yourself fucking idiot.

1. How does your guitar plug in? Perhaps it's in the wrong port.
2. Have you tried right-clicking the speaker icon, and clicking on either "Playback devices" or "Recording devices". This window gives you a better overview of input/output devices to manage.

1. We are not your tech support- wsr per rule 2
2. You probably plugged it into the wrong port. It should be blue on the back of of your computer or have a damn mike icon
