i5 6600k is only like 20% quicker then 2500k, which is insane for a 5 year cpu that you can get on cheap. Easily one of their best cpus ever released.

I'd just buy a used Optiplex at that price point, to be honest. Maybe pick up an SSD to throw in there/replace the HDD with, if you have anything left over.
