Had the same problem on the same OS, but every site was fucked up.

Turns out, it was the Adblock Plus.
Changed to uBlock Origin and everything was fine.

Hit F12 in Chrome and check the console for errors.

I literally told you how to do it.

Press the F12 key on your keyboard.
Click "Console" on the new window with your mouse.

Ctrl F5 fixes this problem for firefox
