I thought so too but it didn't seem to do anything other than prevent me from fucking accessing the 128gb SDcard on my PC or saving to it directly on the device itself via rooted file manager etc etc

There's nothing to do besides pressing "ok" when it asks you if you want to enable combined storage.

Are you sure it isn't downloading the app to /data and not your internal storage or SD card?
