I had a moto g2 and it was so slow, unreliable, and low on battery and such a shitty signal that it literally caused me to miss 2 job interviews, cheap concert tickets, getting laid, as well as getting my friend to the hospital.

At some point you pay for and tech in one way or another. This isn't a game of saving RAM with LXDE or benchmarking Witcher 3 with some water-cooled shit, this is real life with tech inhibiting it.

Considering I had a shitty Symbian phone for the past 5-9 years, I think I did pretty good for myself.

I don't worry about storage because I jammed a 200GB microSD in there. I don't worry about battery or charging because the battery is removable, and USB-C charges fast as fuck. So does Qi charging.

I don't even use apps.

I bought an s7, yeah I overspent but I did on an item I know I spend at least a couple of hours a day directly interacting (and the rest indirectly).

If it's nice from an esthetic pov, comfortable to use, etc sure I overspend but I don't regret spending on a phone being such an integral part of modern life.
