I own one and yes, they are solid. If you are unlucky and get one with bad backlight bleed then return it and hopefully get a better one. These can be had for under $400 regularly on sale. Great build quality and has the ergo features that the ROG Swift has basically. Rotating base, height adjustment, etc.

Other devices also look pretty good on it even though they are non-native res, like 1080p. My consoles look fine even up close.

Im not sticking with 1080p just because 27" exists. I have no problems with 2560x1440 on a 25" and it was pretty cheap too, $265 for an IPS panel.
