I found an old portable transistor TV. I tried Googling the model number but I can't find anything on it. I don't expect it's worth anything, especially considering the condition. It still works, technically, though I can't get any channels to come in. It seems cool to me, I'm just interested in learning more about it.
Manufacturer: Panasonic

what can you do with it if it does not even support external devices? atleast i dont see anything
>>
You can't get any channels because:
1. There are no antennas on it
2. There are exactly 0 stations today that transmit a analog signal.

Try something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMiMz1uGCXI

It does have a RF coaxial adaptor, not pictured.

You can create a low powered uhf station to transmit to it. Anything from your computer and be broadcasted.

All the Mexican channels in Las Vegas still broadcast on analog. Don't ask me why or how.

Pretty cool, probably worth a little more than you'd think if you restored it fully, it has a very midcentury look to it.

Sucks about those missing channel selector knobs though, but those can probably be at least replaced. I wonder if there's a way to build a digital converter box into these things.

There are external antenna jacks for both UHF and VHF that can be used to wire a wide range of devices to it, including cable boxes, computers, VCRs, whatever

There are still some shitters here and there that transmit in analog, mostly christian stations.

Fallout 4 does look kind of cool on the old tube. Very fitting.
