what do you expect should change? technological progress is not necessary but increases chances for survival (of the species) in the long run. for the longest time in human history there was only a really slow progress. realistically, we could stall for 10000 years and nothing would change.
The Internship: people with no talent called to work at Google and do mindless busy work that results in nothing and feel like they have achieved something for it, yep, that nails Google corporate culture to a tee
