/g/, redpill me on NoScript.
I think it should be mandatory for every individual out there who browses the internet. I almost feel like some kind of god when I block all that analytics and ad bullshit you'd never know about right at the source, just to enjoy a very pure and clean web experience.
Is there ANY serious downside to using this or similar software?

You can start by killing yourself you double nigger.

It breaks most sites you visit. Just use ublock and disable Java.

I prefer a compromise.
uMatrix (allowing 1st-party), and no flash/java.
My only real gripe I have is that some payment systems can be a hassle as I don't know what I need to pre-emptively whitelist, and some of them don't reload gracefully if they break the first time.
I don't really want to whitelist any 3rd party domains globally, so an addon that created rules(maybe even temporary?) for payment stuff for a specific site would be very handy.

yep, i love it too, op

umatrix has replaced it for me
it can do all the same stuff and even more
i dont think there are any downsides, you can usually get even the more js-heavy sites unbroken in a couple of minutes. porn sites are the worst i tell ya.
couldnt probably browse without it
