Good, fair-priced/affordable laptop for college? I've been looking at the Dell Latitude E6530 as it's on sale. Can anyone say anything about this laptop?

I'll look into any other recommendations. If it helps I would prefer a more powerful, bulkier laptop over a slimmer, weaker one.

Any used latitude within last 5 years is good enough, I got an E4310 off eBay for $90 and it is really nice.

The 6530 is fine. 3rd gen i3/5/7. If you want to go a bit more powerful in the same form factor from Dell, look at a Precision M4700. Only thing I'd really keep an eye out for is hinge slop.

Lattitude is good, but ThinkPad has better Batman aesthetics. 1366 x 768 resolution may slow you down. I'd try to find something at least 1600 x 900 or plan to get a portable monitor.
