How do botnets exist nowadays now that Windows is harder to exploit and that most PCs are behind some sort of firewall. Remember the days of RXbot, SDBot, Modbot, Zeus etc?

Its not that you exploit something ,it's just that you can implement basic botnet functionality with normal privileges, and people tend to even run that shit on admin.
Besides most firewalls don't block HTTP which most bot's use nowdays
