So i just got this monitor for 155 refurbished direct from Amazon. Is it a good deal? Should i still invest in a G-sync monitor down the road for 4k?

I like mine. Love the 144Hz.
It's 1080p.
Highest resolution I've had is 1920x1200.
Dunno 'bout you, but I'm not gonna bother getting 4k until 10k or some shit is out. I'm more than happy being a little behind on tech. Saves so much money.

I've got 3 in portrait eyefinity. They're one of the best monitors I've ever owned.

I just got mine today, wish I would've snagged it at that price. Also 1440p 144hz is probably the next rung on the ladder in terms of upgrades. As the new Polaris and Pascal cards can (finally) run games at that resolution at 144fps without a SLI or crossfire setup.
/v/ here, is this monitor a good choice for gaming at around $250~ ?

You should never invest in g-sync meme period. Freesync or gtfo.
