>MS16-068 is a fix for eight CVE-listed flaws in Edge. Like the IE flaws, the Edge vulnerabilities would allow remote code execution simply by viewing a web page on the Edge browser.

Same way every other browser producing software vendors let it happen. Bugs and oversights. Microsoft are not unique in this, much as /g/ likes to portray them as the only ones producing insecure software.
>remote code execution
You mean Javascript?

It's not that they're the only ones producing buggy software, it's just that they manage to write an order of magnitude or two more critical exploits / RCEs into their products.
(They ain't got nothing on Adobe though - adobe manages to beat even microsoft with flash player alone)

They're also the only ones with a new and relatively immature browser. I'd give it some more time, though I find the Firefox figures disconcerting and the Chrome figures suspicious.
