I have a problem with my ps3. I'm not sure if it's the ps3 or the game but I tried all that I've researched. I tried the update and deleting and restore and data shit..blah blah blah.
Everytime I pop in my GTA V game into the ps3. (Barely any scratches and not much wrong about my ps3 because other games seem to work)
The game doesn't seem to work. No matter what I do. I put it in and it starts. But it only shows the police lights and stars like the intro and then it goes black and nothing happens.

Looks like overheating problem. Disassemble it, remove cooler, remayonnese it, put back cooler, try again.

It is effective and cheap solution. This is why MS and Sony put mayonnese on their console cpu.
Literally use mayo? 0_o

Or you can buy expensive thermal paste for one time use and let the rest to go dry.

Link to a video tutorial?
Also: all my other games work fine. It's just GTA that doesn't start

GTA V was released at peak of PS3 life and squeezed every last bit of power from it. Other games are not so demanding. Let me post a link really quick.
