Are there any introduction to C short courses that I can just read? Must have sample codes and stuff, and I won't have a computer with me, just my phone so I won't have access to an IDE.
In the army now, no access to the computer, only my phone and lots of free time.

Why not better read some manga or watch some animu?
>>54952022
I'm going to college soon and I just want to prepare, even if it's just a little.
And i don't watch anime anymore.
sure is summer in here
>>54952009
Learning a programming language for the sake of just learning it is probably the most boring thing you could do.
>>54952050
Watch Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress anyway
>>54952009
See, the thing that you faggots (and hiro v1) don't realize is that the oldfags hibernate when Summer rolls around. "Traffic" doesn't increase because all the newfags replace the oldfags that leave.

I'm studying CS in college.

disgusting
>>54952050
Summerfag pls leave
>>54952719

Sigh I guess I will leave then
>>54955082
I'm not sure what shit country you're from but the average starting salary for a CS graduate from my school (University of Washington) is $120k
>short
I would just download the K&R book and read it on your phone.
>>54955982
short answer : no
long answer : lol no
>>54956029
What's that ?
>>54955982
yeah maybe if you get a grant to invent strong AI
>>54955982
that's with a Ph.D. too. nobody in their right mind will pay some fool with a bachelors degree and an average GPA and no publications almosst 2500/week to write some gay application they can get pajeet to do for 500/week
>>54955982
>Tfw fell for the CS meme
>Tfw graduated and now a useless NEET
>>54955982
LOL Jesus fucken christ. Let me guess $55K in debt after graduation and you think you're going to pay that off in 6 months?
> Typical college graduate. Wait till you get your first job in a few years, I'll continue to enjoy my 80K salary with no college and years of experience.

Teach me your ways, Sempai

FUCK that Moot post triggers me every time.
He only said that traffic doesn't increase that much, not that it's made of the same users.
Have you ever considered that maybe during summer there may be a shift in the type of population?
Maybe during the other seasons the percentage of adults is higher because kids go to school, but in summer the kids spend more time here and adults spend their time doing other things.
Or maybe it's just different people without being an adult/kid case.
I'm not saying it's what actually happens because without some actual dada it's impossible to tell, but just the data about the lack of a significant increase in the number of users MEANS FUCKING NOTHING.

The OP's post was my first time seeing it, and I got a chuckle out of it, but I'm glad to see someone else was thinking was I was thinking.
There's really no use in anyone complaining, though. All you can really do is ignore shitposters -- whether they're "summerfags" or not -- and contribute good content yourself wherever you can, so the garbage gets drowned-out.
>>54959222
Yeah, but it's posted very often (this particular one is new to me, but other versions are posted almost every day during summer) and I'm easily triggered by stupidity and fallacies.
It was too hard to ignore.
>>54959192
Redditor
>>54959276
Nope
Is there a particular reason why you would think so?
>>54959295
>Is there a particular reason why you would think so?
Jesus fucking Christ
>>54959328
I assume it's the way I write...
I apologise. English isn't my firsst language and I'm not competent enough to choose a way to write.
I just say what I need to get the point across without too many errors.
Traffic doesn't change because summerfags come in and regulars leave for the summer so they don't have to deal with summerfags. It balances out.

You're a bit late.
See: >>54959192
read htdp or an algo book. Don't learn a language, learn how code works
Probably the best/ most in depth C tutorial out. That is if you don't mind video.

And since you're both still here, what does that say about you?
>>54960404
I'm always here every season because procrastination is a huge part of my life and the hundreds of attempts at leaving this website failed miserably.
Also being a NEET helps (or makes it worse, depending on how you see it).

Thanks, I will read that.
