No, that's for outputting audio over USB. You need an input card. I just noticed the mic has a 3.5mm jack cable with it which COULD work but it still needs amplification otherwise it'll be real quiet and if you plug it directly to your laptop in you'll likely get groud loop/electrical current noise on it.

For that price (it's $46 for shipping to me) you can likely get mic stands for cheaper at your local music store or whatever. Also, you probably don't really need a big arm mic stand if you're starting out streaming or video making. You probably only need a desktop mic stand.

Wrong, those little USB Audio Cards may not be intended to be used as ghetto Phantom Power but they do work as ghetto Phantom Power, and they do a pretty amazing job for such stupid low price.

The Somake 7.1 is an amazing replacement for a phantom power in a cheapo mic.
