nice build bro 10/10
I'm glad i'm not this poor
I've got the same mobo, psu, keyboard, ram (different color and 16gb) and case. I'm very happy with them. And a very similar monitor (1080p 144hz) for the same price. I have a 980 and an i7 4790 though. A 970 won't get you 100+ fps with good settings on most modern games, that's why I've got the 980. I'm thinking about replacing it with a 980 ti, and getting a second one or if pascal is really that great replacing it with the next 80 ti.

You just sent the website.. Make an account, save the build then send the custom link

build thread? Build thread. I want something that will be getting a minimum of 60fps on low settings in about six years time, and that performs strongly for a good four years. What do you guys think?
The PSU is a bit powerful, but that's so I could crossfire midway through the desktop's life if I feel like it.

>Don't you need a cooler for the CPU since I think the FX 9XXX series doesnt come with stock cooler

Oh, forgot to mention. I'm going to use the corsair hydro h60 that I have lying about for it.
>>51452706
Well its a solid build than. Altough if you already have a watercooler, I would buy an FX 8350 and OC the shit out of it (Pretty sure It could reach 4.4-4.5 easily)
>>51452754
what if I just overclocked the current one? Would it be worth pushing past 5ghz?
>>51452802
What CPU?
>>51452828
AMD FX 9370
>>51452629
You're goofing big time on the CPU
>>51452863
I'm not too good with this stuff which is why I asked here, could you explain what's wrong with the CPU?
I'll happily take other suggestions, but I would prefer to buy AMD over Intel.
>>51452837
Ah I though you were talking about the CPU you currently using-
Well technically the Fx 9370 is the same as the 8350 but with higher clockspeed, So the headroom would be really minimal. You most likely can push it over a bit over 5 GHZ but that really depends on the CPU.. some can, some can't
hey guise hows this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pT9Hcf
>>51452880
looking online, the 9370 is actually only £3 more than an 8350, doesn't seem like there's any real point in downgrading at that level. I suppose downgrading would allow me to get a cheaper motherboard and save some dosh?
>>51452937
Ah didn't know that. THan its a nice pirce

>overpriced CPU cooler
>overpriced optical drive
>(can get cheaper PSU)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wjs2P6
I kept the 970 in there cause you probably have a kek fetish
>>51453247
I probably would go for the 390(x) instead
>overpriced optical drive you will only use once in a year
>seagate HDD
>overpriced PSU
>monitor also seems way too overpriced

Wish I could just order all this :(

I live in germany so the prices here are ok and even if tell me some cheaper options

Juat an overview
>>51452629
>buying the 390 for a long term build and not a 970
970 is $100 cheaper and competes with the 390x, not the 390.

get an 8320e or 8370e, they're binned for low leakage and usually can achieve stability with lower voltage than 'normal' piledriver chips
