I don't even care if it is a troll or not. Reading that book was a shitty experience.
Basically I was forced to read it in Highschool, and the teacher was really anal about making sure we all read at the same pace. She kept the books in her room and only gave them to us for "sessions" where one person would read it out loud to the class. Then afterwards we would spend 3-4 days discussing what we read, down to every single detail in every sentence.
Keep in mind that we read at a pace of about 2-4 chapters every session, and the book is like 30 chapters or so. It took like half the fucking year to read a book that wasn't even good.
We also had shitty projects about it, like how we had to draw a map of the street she lived on, or write a 5-paragraph analysis on one of the characters.
So, once again, fuck that book.
