In the past i used to do a lot of strength stuff, was squatting 350+, deadlifting 450+, came back to lifting and now that im older i want to do reasonable stuff that isnt too difficult.
Normally i would do squats and deads the past few months with 6-8 rep range, however i feel its so hard to keep tightness and form because of lack of air as the set goes on, fatigue. Obviously its much easier on a leg press or whatever where you arent balancing the weight on your back, but has anyone ever just settled on sets of 5? Im in good shape, can run 5 miles, not out of condition or anything.
