Hey fit. Is this bullshit?

"Jump squats before back squats prime your CNS allowing you to lift more"

Completely true. Do 5 bodyweight jump squats before your next squat session and see. Be as explosive as possible.

My doctor told me that intermittent fasting can lead to diabetes. wat do?

It's called warming up, stop trying to reinvent the wheel
Jump pushups are also benefitial for benching and punching. Its about the twitch and speed

Fung says it's the exact opposite.
Do you trust your doctor with a PhD or Fung also with a PhD?
That said, Fung is really specifically interested in IF compared to a GP who might have briefly learned about it in med school 20 years ago.
Our understandings change quite a lot over time.

Do plank and side planks, not jump squats. You'll find it more instinctive to brace correctly and if you're tighter your CNS will allow you to produce more force safely.

I don't think so. Brian alsrhu does some sort of explosive squat or jump before he squats, he says it is to get his hips to be as explosive as possible

My assumption is that by "priming CNS", it means upping your neural drive so that you feel more "pumped" by the time you get to your actual lifts. I guess this could technically be correct, but the idea that it would magically make your contractions more explosive than, say, performing faster reps (aiming for power rather than just pure strength) is iffy at best, bullshit at worst.
Stick to the usual. Aim to perform faster reps if you want more explosiveness in your contractions.
