It’s about health and enjoying the physical and emotional feelings movement can provide; about becoming stronger, more flexible, more resilient; about learning new skills and exploring personal goals. It’s about getting our ya-ya’s out. It should be fun and should feel good, in all ways.
>Don’t try to force yourself to do exercise that feels like drudgery or training for a beauty contest. Consider self-defense or martial arts classes. Try yoga, hula-hooping, or paddleboarding. Pick a team sport. Indulge in a nice, long stretch each day. Get outside and go hiking, biking, swimming, or horseback riding in places where your exercise also lets you enjoy some extra oxygen, a beautiful day, or a new place to hang out.
