Is it possible to maintain without tracking food and just going by how you feel? The thought of going to social events, drinking, or just living life while simultaneously having to know the calories and macros of my food makes me feel trapped.

It's really not difficult to differentiate something that is healthy and something that isn't.
Have a cheat day every week or two to look forward to, I find this helps getting through the week of eating well a lot, although to be honest after a month of eating well it's pretty easy to adhere to.
Also options man! If you're out socialising and drinking, maybe go for a hard liquor or something lighter than drinking 10 beers that'll still get you drunk. All about cutting where you can.

yes, go omad, if you keep it for a week you won't be able to put ton of shit within one meal and eat it within hour, still if you eat pure shit and excess your calories you're going to get fat

these things can fit into a healthy lifestyle with moderation. almost any restaurant will let you add/remove things from their plates. use this to your advantage

at restaurants order a chicken salad but hold the dressing/vinaigrette/croutons/cheese or whatever other garbage is always included. it's really not that hard.

if you're having a drink or two, order light beers or vodka. you can get away with an outing like this once a week provided you're on top of it the other 6 days. not the best way to live if your goal is gainz, but if you need to that's how you do it

well if you kj count every food eg read the labels or look up an log it, over time you would get to know the KJ in various foods and servings.....so yeah you could by logging everything for a few months. Like learning your times tables really
