Is there any way (not gear) to make some level of "pump"

Is there any way (not gear) to make some level of "pump" last for an extended period of time?

I feel like if I don't lift for two days, my muscles totally deflate. What's the point of lifting at all if your muscles deflate after a few days of inactivity?
