What do you brehs recommend for pre workout nutrition? I've too long neglected filling myself up with food to fuel my workouts.

You don't really need carbs for preworkout unless you are on really low carbs(eg. keto), or you just ran a marathon that morning and you have 0 glycogen in your muscles.
Intraworkout and preworkout BCAAs are a MEME
I actually just eat a normal breakfast 1 hour before my workout.
2 slices of whole wheat bread.
2 eggs, a slice of ham.
A coffe with some skim milk.
