In few months I'll be able to lift again after breaking my arm twice this year and having a surgery.
Now both my body composition changed (yeah put on some weight) and strength probably plummeted especially upper body.
My question is when I start lifting again should I do a strength program for a while or start with program focused more on aesthetics. I did strength ones in the past and always progressed poorly, mainly because most of the times I was cutting but even on bulking one it was shit compared to all the success stories. Barely hit 1 plate bench after 3 4 months, squat like 70kg dl ~90 but now it's all shit probably. And I always wanted to just get in good shape and have some ok lifts but neither ever happened.
